COLLEGE COMMITMENTS
Congratulations to our Seniors. Eman Hubbard has accepted a scholarhip to the University of Detroit and Michelle Hayes has signed a Letter of Intent and will attend the University of Toledo next fall. PLAYER RANKINGS
Several players from the Michigan Storm Family have been recognized recently for their prowess on the court. Cherrish Willis (14), Michelle Hayes (18), Sydni Davis (11), Eman Hubbard (7) and Stevie Jones (36) were recently recognized by the Oakland Press as being among the top 50 players in Oakland County (rankings in parenthesis). The Detroit Free Press likewise recognized Eman Hubbard and Sydni Davis as being among the top 100 players in the State of Michigan, with Eman Hubbard being ranked 12th. Additionally, several other players have been named All-Conference or All League at their respective High Schools: Angella Broggi (All Catholic); Breonna House (OAA Red); Auriel Harris (All-State recognition). Congratulations girls and keep working hard!
RECENT PERFORMANCES
Although many members of the Storm Family are off to great starts this season with their High School Teams, Mieana Gaines of Southfield High School recently had a "monster" game against Birmingham Seaholm. Mieana scored 21 points, collected 22 rebounds and blocked 5 shots. Great job Mieana. Sydni Davis scored 17 points and tallied 16 assists in her opener against Birmingham Groves.
